Science and Technology

The Grade 1 Science and Technology course introduces students to scientific inquiry and exploration. Students observe the natural world, investigate simple scientific concepts, and learn how technology can help us understand and solve problems.

Unit 2: Matter and Energy

Students investigate materials and explore how objects behave in different situations.

Unit 3: Structures and Mechanisms

Students explore how objects are built and how simple structures work.

Unit 4: Technology and Inquiry Skills

Students learn to ask questions, make predictions, observe changes, and record their discoveries while developing responsible technology habits.
